School shooting: Where were the Private Prison contractors?
In the unfolding of the tragedy in Connecticut, we've had many calls for more police and tighter access controls. But wait a minute. As DUers, haven't we been served lots of stories about many problems with too many police in schools, and the "school-to-prison" pipeline?
There seem to be a LOT of police in schools at times. But don't forget the old canard, "There's never a cop around when you really need one."
