I am a retired law enforcement Official(Correction Officer) and even I don't have a DAMN gun

Never liked them even when it was MANDATORY that I had to RE : qualify every year.My co workers used to laugh at me when I told them I didn't own a gun for off duty use and didn't like being around them. My take is there made for one thing TO KILL

I carried assault weapons and handguns/firearms, etc for 26 years in the military. Almost every duty day. I don't own one now. People, just need to say "no" to guns. Be not afraid.

and he has a huge arsenal that he displays in his house.

It has been there for years and I remember refusing to sleep in his unoccupied room when I was a kid. All of his guns and dead animals mounted on the walls scared me something fierce, I'll admit it.

Today, my cousin is still out there w/his guns shooting "things". Why I'll never know as he certainly doesn't need any food (a common excuse to have/carry a gun = "I hunt&quot .

You however, have my greatest respect. You don't need guns nor does anyone else IMO.

Thank you for being a good example of how a man that once had to carry a gun for a living finds no need for one. to you!!

I really hate the place, it's like a museum of death, all of the dead animals mounted all over the place. I would rather be around living things than all of the animals killed by humans for sport and $$$$$ for Cabela's .

I hate Cabella's, and hate even more the fact that they are "consumerising" and promoting as entertainment the death of humans and beautiful wild animals.

Its the very definition of evil, and yet it is now entertainment?

April, 1973.

(In Cambodia I carried an M-16 with a grenade launcher attachment and a .45. All were fully loaded with a round in each chamber.)
