I'm thinking this is maybe reliable since it claims to cite the Medical Examiner. It makes sense that the bushmaster would be the weapon used here. It is designed for mass shootings.

If this had been a standard Remmington 700 BDL bolt action chambered in .223, he would have gotten five shots off before having to stop and reload. Plus he would have had to cycle the bolt.

The other problem is people with mental disease keep getting access to guns.

It is time to bring back the Assault Weapons Ban and beef it up.

Locking fucktards up for 20 years for gun violations instead of those with a few ounces of weed would be a good second step.

although I'm only for the Assault Weapons Ban if it focuses on capacity and speed of shooting/reloading.

I don't give a shit if a gun LOOKS like a military weapon, I care if it can fire a ridiculous amount of shots in a ridiculously short amount of time.

like the VT shooter?

Aren't you really saying there needs to be a ban on all handguns?

I am assuming he had high capacity magazines for that .223 carbine (which is NOT a handgun).

One of his guns had a 10 round mag. The other a 15 round capacity.

The shoot in Denver had a 100-round drum clip for his .223. This is just ridiculous. There is no need for civilians to have that kind of firepower.

Let me say this for those of you who don't remember or don't have kids: a first grader is pretty much fully cognizant of what is going on. They would understand the situation perfectly. They would realize what was happening. They make remarkable higher level inductions from data; they're actually quite remarkable; first grade is really the first time I thought my daughter could probably make it on her own if she needed to.

The terror must have been beyond description.

Beyond.

A first grader knows exactly what's going on. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Second, ban modifications like bump stocks that allow semi-auto to act like fully automatic guns
