If only God was allowed in schools...

That's the latest meme

Why did God allow this tragedy to happen at a school?

Because God is not allowed in school.

Oh, if only we allowed God in school, this tragedy would never have happened.

God is punishing us for keeping him out of school by murdering our children.

Well, if that's true, explain this:

Pastor Killed, Beaten With Electric Guitar

A pastor was killed in a string of assaults at a Forest Hill church on Monday afternoon, and the suspect was found dead after being stunned by police and arrested.

Forest Hill police said a man drove his car into the Greater Sweethome Missionary Baptist Church and then went inside to the music room, where he beat the founder and 18-year pastor Danny Kirk Sr. over the head with an electric guitar.

1. You mean the skydaddy who

supposedly put numerous plagues on mankind, asked them to kill each other and even there own children, raped a young girl, then demanded the son of that rape be crucified? That god?

I don't see how you're seeing a disconnect, seems he's doing what he usually does, basking in the violence of his perfect creations.

I mean, that's the whole point. Not so much a skydaddy as a skygodfather who will protect us if we respect him.

No?...

In my role as a Christian minister, I have to speak up about the lie politicians and others are putting forth, that the CT shooting happened because "God has been removed from our schools." This is a dangerous, irresponsible, and and theologically immature statement. God is not found in the rules or activities sanctioned by a school, or the doctrines that make that an issue. God is in the hearts of human beings, children included. And praying to God will not in fact avert the tragedies of our world...we've all seen/experienced that tragedy happens inexplicably. God does not "allow" things to happen because we do not adhere to human-concocted doctrine and superstition. Where is God? God is grieving with us. But God is not smiting children because of the separation of church and state.

God is an absentee landlord.

He created the universe and then went on permanent sabbatical.

in school, there never would have been a fire at Our Lady of Angels in 1958, killing 92 children. God wasn't invited to hang around a catholic school, therefore...

Oh, wait...

On October 2, 2006, a shooting occurred at the West Nickel Mines School, an Amish one-room schoolhouse in the Old Order Amish community of Nickel Mines, a village in Bart Township of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.[1][2][3] Gunman Charles Carl Roberts IV took hostages and shot ten girls (aged 6–13), killing five, before committing suicide in the schoolhouse.[1][2][3][4] The emphasis on forgiveness and reconciliation in the response of the Amish community was widely discussed in the national media

Roberts backed a pickup truck up to the front of the Amish schoolhouse and entered the school at approximately 10:25 a.m. EDT, shortly after the children had returned from recess...

He ordered the girls to line up against the chalkboard ... and all remaining boys to exit the building.

At approximately 11:07 a.m., Roberts began shooting the victims...

Anyone who claims "God wasn't allowed" in a private Christian school or a one-room Amish schoolhouse is being dishonest.

to kill a bunch of tiny children because of separation of church and state, he isn't worth anyone's worship anyway.

Seriously though, the whole notion is absurd.

And, after hearing of Bryan Fischer's radio show about how the Sandy Point Massacre was caused by a lack of prayer in public school, I put THIS up on Facebook:

OK, rant ON: (apologies in advance for the language, but I have HAD IT)

FUCK you, Mr. Fischer.

Fuck you up the ass.

Sideways.

With a red-hot fireplace poker.

Same to anybody who agrees with your brain-dead assholery.

Your "God" seems to think it just fine to kill 20 innocent CHILDREN - 6 and 7 year olds! - out of pure spite just to teach us a lesson...you pray to a God whom you believe sends violent maniacs with guns to elementary schools to kill innocent children - just to remind the rest of us that we need more of THIS God in our lives.

This tells me, Mr Fischer - and all who agree with you - that
YOU ARE PRAYING TO THE WRONG DAMNED GOD!

Or are you SERIOUSLY telling me that the Lord God of Creation, shaper and ruler of all that is, was or will be, is so unspeakably petty as to kill innocent children just because he's not being prayed to in schools?

Well, I have A higher opinion of God than you, apparently. Or you're actually worshipping the other guy, but are too damned stupid to realize it.

It is idiotic assholes such as yourself that put a black eye on all of Christianity, and for that, I repeat:
FUCK you.

Do us ALL a favor, and
shut.
The fuck.
Up.

Rant OFF.
