Is it official now? Cuts = Strengthening?

What we need is Villageologists to study DC like Kremlinologists used to study the Vat.. errr the Kremlin.

Keeping up with this stuff is like looking through the latest pictures of Soviet leaders to see who's been cut out of the picture.

You can actuarially strengthen a program in two ways: increasing revenues and decreasing outlays.

You strengthen the party by getting it to take more money in or give less money out.

You strengthen Social Security by getting it to take more money in or give less money out.

I mean, cutting donations to the Democratic party strengthens your checking account.

You can slash your wrist and not really sever the vein properly...or at all if in haste, but with skill a single cut with the right amount of pressure, political or otherwise, will release you from this mortal coil with all expediency.
