NRA shill Wayne LaPierre on Meet the Press today. The lowest of the low has been reached.

(Reposting from LBN for DUer Astazia, who is posting from a cell phone)

After his supposed "Press Conference" was not open for questions he spewed more blame for gun violence on everything but the guns themselves. There was a time that MTP was somewhat acceptable but no more. Giving this highly paid & dishonest glorified lobbyist ANY AIR TIME while kids are still being buried goes beyond despicable! Shame on them. Just wanted to see if we as a group let them.know that the insensitivity, combined with what will be a hard holiday as is for those in Newtown, as well as all over the country. It is a disgrace that David Gregory or whomever allowed this lobbying shill for the gun manufacturers to be a featured guest on your air. David Gregory should be replaced as managing editor. NBC & MTP apparently truly have no class & no shame. I don't always agree with the format on MTP, but this is the last straw. I don't know how they sleep at night. This is distressing. PLEASE, if you agree with this let them know.

Republicans always outnumber Democrats on the "panels." And Gregrrrry has a habit of cutting off Democrats in mid-sentence. Very irritating as he lets McCain and Linseed Graham go on and on without interruption.

First time in forever I've seen DG actually act like a journalist and argue with anyone. And I don't like DG.

Maybe something along the lines of doesn't it bother you when liberals blame these shootings on guns? Isn't that unfair?

The more these assholes talk publically, the bigger the hole they dig for themselves and the Repukes. I want the American people to hear more from them. They aren't converting anybody, they are discouraging and causing Repukes to hold their faces in their hands.

Right after Barack Obama was reelected, it may have been the weekend following the electoral landslide. One of BO advisors was on MTP & was asked by David Gregory if the PRESIDENT would be seeking Rmoney's counsel in the coming weeks. What role might Rmoney play in the coming fiscal cliff negotiations.

WTF? The look on Plouffe/Axels fave was like are you shitting me. It's simply become yet another of those shows that use the premise that each had good ideas for the better of the whole and it is simply not true.

Sometimes truth is simply that. Sometimes one side makes way more sense than the other. They think each side has their merits and sometimes in the past it might have been true. But this country is in serious trouble when fair & balanced is neither.

One time I was watching Meet the Press when Karen Hughes was one of the guests. *sigh* She came out with something that I knew very well was a completely obvious lie and I waited for somebody, anybody to jump in and correct her, but there wasn't a peep out of anybody, they just let it go. Me, I yelled "WHAT?!" at the TV...

for as long as i can remember, but they doubled down on the TPM's about the time of the repeal of the fairness doctrine and reached an orgiastic,right-handed priapic crescendo under the second coming of the burning Bush.
And you thought it was a pretzel.
But hey,at least he didn't inhale,right?
Sometimes a cigar is only a cigar but where there is smoke there is usually fire unless it is smoked sausages then it usually flavored artificially with an ingredient called Colgin which goes better with Coke than it does with O'duhl's.
Or so i am told.
If you catch my drift.
