Staten Island had a GOP congressman and Steven King represents parts of Long Island. Given the smallness of New Jersey I would think that all 6 would likely have had some damage.

Even though those places tend to elect democrats, there are still many rich Republicans in those states (as well as in California) who will bankroll election throughout the country. The GOP would be severely weakened if New Yorkers did not contribute.
