Dear Red State GOP House Members - I have this to say

Next time a Tornado wipes out a city in one of your states or a river floods away a town or a drought ruins a major income crop just remember this.

Democrats won't play party politics with the people who are suffering.

Thank you

I wish that more people in the U.S. would recognize how much they vote against their own interests whenever they support a Republican.

This should make them think twice next time they get in front of a voting machine.

They're also the ones that have to get bailed out year after year when the nor'easters and hurricanes hit.

The towns along the coast are all pretty moderate to progressive. Mainly because Rehobeth Beach is in there and that's a very LGBT-friendly town.

Unfortunately, despite the relatively high number of gay folk in those towns, the people there still voted strongly in favor of the constitutional amendment against equal marriage, civil unions, and anything approximating a marriage or civil union. That was a big disappointment.

Where are the reps from Florida, Texas, LA, Midwest draught areas, and so forth and so forth who come crying for help for THEIR situation?

Any state that ever got help should have empathetic reps who would have pushed this strenuously.

Sometimes voting on a disaster is a uniting factor and may have helped Boener rather than hurt him, damn the costs...

He should be on the rooftops complaining about the raw deal Sandy victims received. He represents some of the hardest hit areas by Sandy, including Seaside Heights and Island Heights. Instead, he is probably at a Koch fundraiser. Shameful..

note the GOP response to Katrina - King was among those who voted against helping Katrina victims. And,of course, it was Bush at the helm of that disastrous, politically motivated response.
