debt ceilings, the 14th amendment, and Scalia

OK, the hope many have here is that Obama invokes the 14th amendment to pay our debts. Question is, how can the Supreme Court ruin that, if they can. If nothing else, I worry that Tony Scalia will make sure to throw spanners into the gears, especially as he has Thoams and Alito as minions.

Ignore the USSC and go about his business. The nation will not be thrown into default by activist judges legislating from the bench.

Neither one of them was impeached and they are remembered as great presidents.

The votes are not there in the Senate, not even close.
