Students First: State Policy Report Card 2013

This link arrived in my email. The organization provide a State-by-State grading system for schools. I would appreciate any comments from folks familiar with the Students First organization and the scoring in general.

My State, Wisconsin, was rated as "D+", which sounds about right considering the Koch-sponsored government we have here.

Michelle Ree is on the board of directors, that should tell you something right there. These folks are dedicated to overturning our public school system and turning it into either a charter or private school system.

Anything, including their school grading system, I would find suspect.

Nebraska students are ranked in the top 10 for both the ACT and SAT, and yet it received an F. I read a couple of weeks ago, one of our reps in the legislature is using a few under performing schools, as a way to bring charter schools to the state.
