Ed Koch's racist reaction to Hagel pick

He manages to insult both Jews and Arabs. What a guy.

“I’m sure that the Arabs are drinking orange juice and toasting Hagel’s good health,” Koch said. [...]

The Mayor says he has no regrets, “it’s wouldn’t make any difference. The Jews were going to vote for him no matter what. And that’s the nature of the Jews. They are always very solicitous of everybody else except their own needs and community.”

Koch is so vile I am not even going to talk about his vileness. Hagel is of course just a Republican who has a history of saying shitty things about gay people like all Republicans and of voting for the Iraq War, like the rest of the Republicans. Koch is worse than that.
