If it were, then car owners would be able to go any damn speed they wanted to because it would be their god given right by god!

2. I never thought about street signs that way. I'm going to start smashing every sign I see!

I never would have realized the insidious menace those signs present if not for this.

To be serious, when you are entering a roundabout you have to turn right and go the long way around even if you want the left exit.

5. Out here in my neck o' the woods

it's rare to see road signs outside of town that aren't sporting at least one gunshot wound. Lets you know what your neighbors are all about, that and all the BudLight cans lying around along the forest roads out in woods.

4. OK, what are some analogous ideas for guns?

Because what I mostly see talked about is banning assault weapons, which is like trying to prevent speeding by banning cars with spoilers.

8. All guns should be required to have registration stickers.

Hell, cars are required to have registration stickers that you must renew every year.

These gun registration stickers would have a bar code that can be scanned by any smartphone. It would provide the registered owner's name, address, results of background check, and a list of other weapons owned. It would also provide the information for making claims against the gun owner's liability insurance, which all gun owners would be required to have in order to own a gun--just like you must have to drive a car.

Any guns found without stickers would be immediately confiscated. Owners would have a certain period of time--60 days or so--to show the gun was registered but the sticker fell off. All unregistered guns would be destroyed.

14. Requiring registration to vote seems to pass constitutional muster... why not gun ownership.

Start out by requiring all White Males to register their guns... then, after they agitate about it for a hundred years or so
we can require Blacks and Women to register their guns.
