is a good thing?

When did war and government intrusion suddenly become cool? Once upon a time DU was filled with self-proclaimed civil libertarians who thought the mere idea of computers scanning civilian phone networks for certain watch words was too much of a violation of our rights as citizens. Now we're supposed to yuck it up over the idea of the government killing people. Not wiretaps; killing.

Which, by the way, feeds into the complaints of those who think liberals will use violence to take away their rights.

"...when the government comes to their home to take their guns."

That's not funny; that's depraved.
