I was afraid you were going to say the NRA got rid of him. He is a walking, talking advertisement for gun control. If the NRA actually put in a reasonable, well spoken and intelligent person in his place, it might jeopardize the left's efforts.

Wonder how LaPierre will explain this one. Assault weapons are made to kill, this is why militaries arms their troops with them. Sensible for the military and law enforcement but not civilians on the streets.

The tunnel rats in Vietnam preferred shotguns to rifles because your aim doesn't have to be quite so perfect.

LaPierre is even given one second of MSM time. But, then again what am I'm saying????? That the MSM would cover topics concerning common sense regulations as it pertains to weapons? Nah......doesn't pay the advertisers and that's what it's all about. Out there today, there aren't any Murrows or Cronkites in the MSM and their types are truly missed......at least IMHO
