I understand that they're homophobic and are pretty much opposed to anything gays want to do (including continuing to LIVE), but when you hear their arguments against allowing gays to marry, it's pretty nonsensical. All of their arguments have to do with gay people being promiscuous, spreading disease, wanting to "recruit" others into their lifestyles, etc. Every time I hear these arguments, I can only think, "So taking two gay people who want to commit to each other and NOBODY ELSE.........FOREVER..........will HELP with that?"

That's like saying, "I hate that woman over there because she is a real slut. She has sex with a different man every night. She's promiscous, immoral, spreads disease, and is a horrible influence on the young people in our community. In order to show her that her sex-filled lifestyle is wrong and that she needs to settle down and commit to just one person, I'm going to legally forbid her from settling down and committing to one person for the rest of her life."

I suppose I should be USED to counterintuitive "logic" from righties, yet somehow it still amazes me every time I see it.
