First of all, it is not about gun "control" - it is about gun violence.

It is important that the issue be spoken about with the correct terminology.

If there is a pill on the market that can harm everyone, we have the right to take it off the market. You can argue that you have the right to take the pill if you want to.

The issue is not whether we "control" your right to own any gun you want per the 2nd Amendment. The issue is about murder. It is about criminal acts. It is not only society's right to take these murderous instruments off the street, it is our obligation. It is our duty.

The vocabulary needs to change to gun education, gun policy, gun regulation, public awareness, public education re guns, public participation re guns -- we need to stop saying 'control' because it forces the most outrageous responses. The violent use of guns is the issue. yes. And I think all guns should have some kind of insurance. We have insurance on our cars. But that is another rant!!
