63. UPDATE: Thank you, everyone.

Wish I could say it all turned out fine. What I've learned is that the bad guys win and the innocent suffer over and over again. The laws in this country suck ass when it comes to protecting little people against crooked corporations. The only place where David prevails over Goliath is in a fairy tale. David could win but still lose a bundle because the corporation has absolutely no risk.

So the nightmare is officially over, but we're fucked and have to mortgage our future.

At least I can come back to DU now. No one cares anymore what websites I post to. And the fur babies will all be fine.

Thank you again for all you vibes. I could feel how strong they were, but sometimes evil is just too strong to stop.

Sometimes I think it's harder to try to hang onto hope in difficult times than to know the outcome for certain and to plan and prepare... and sometimes I think I'd rather still have that hope to hang onto. Both situations are just so stressful.

Now you know what your new normal is, I guess, and can start planning accordingly, and can start to adjust emotionally from the state of having hope that things will work out the way you wanted to having a different kind of hope--that your situation won't always be as bad as it seems today. It really, really sucks that things didn't go your way, but I hope that all the good vibes from your friends here are a source of comfort and strength. Maybe someday this will all be a terrible nightmare that you can look back on with relief that it's over... you just have to get through the process of getting through this stage in your life, which is so difficult. I'm so sorry.
