(22,298 posts)I think they were both nervous & overcome by the emotional & historical impact of what was happening. The crowd where I was standing didn't seem to care; we just wanted Obama to get to the part where he said "I will." It wasn't until I got back to my hotel that I started getting phone calls about it & how upset the crowd was. Really? We were too freaking COLD!!! The only thing that upset me was the way the port-o-potties were set up deliberately to cage people in & thus cause bottle-necks as people tried to get off of the Mall.
