Combat sucks

There are some men and women who are not cut out to handle it. Neither should be in those units.

However, the nature of war has changed. There are fluid fronts if there are any at all. Many women have proven themselves under fire. That is what counts. When the rubber meets the road, how do you respond? I have no idea how I would. I hope I would measure up, but lawd only knows.

Those who find themselves under fire and in less than ideal conditions will improvise. If all are pulling their weight, bathroom problems should be minor and maybe nonexistent.

The fact is that the lack of combat duty hinders promotions. Until this is rectified, women will never truly have a voice in the military. More women will be entering the services not less. They deserve every benefit and every burden.
