The GOP War On Women Is An "Us Or Them" Proposition. Only One Side Will Win And ----

the other will be politically routed. This new declaration by Boner has some very serious undertones and is going to be a cultural, political and religious civil war.

What makes the assault so serious is all the legislation already in process at the state level. And the GOP seems to be planning a blitzkrieg characteristic of the German war strategy.

The GOP has allied itself with them to gain and keep power. The reaction of the right wing to women in combat says everything. One has to remember that the only role that the fanatic religions believe is that a women should be only in the home raising children and be totally subservient to the husband. Their view is no different from the Taliban that out soldiers are fighting in Afghanistan.

Women who have equal pay, work in public employment or have control over their health care are a threat to the conservtive order. They simply will not accept the change that gives women political power. And women who have any sense of financial independence are a political threat.

The war on women runs wide and deep in the GOP establishment. Just how wide is becoming more obvious all the time. Austerity effects women more than anyone.

I was raised Catholic and I did not realize until I was much older how full of shit the clergy is.
