Howard Dean:" You have 49% crackpots in your party, we only have about 10."

(14,177 posts)LOL I have never seen such a lame weak Republican in my life. The Republicans need to kick this one to the curb. But, then on the other hand he just looks like a cry baby and not a bat shit crazy lunatic like so many others in the party.

(9,463 posts)"Democrat Party" (instead of the proper Democratic Party) doesn't want to be called names like "right-wingers"?

Can't stand that pollster. I saw her years ago beaming over Palinblech!
I'm sure she has a bright future in the GOP. What a disgusting lie-filled future she has in store.

(429 posts)He's too smart, strong and erudite not to be in a high level office. He deserves to have say and power in our political system. He would be able to make positive changes for our country. I for one would support him in which ever office he runs for.

(37,648 posts)They didn't refute the "Obama hasn't created jobs" lie that abounds everywhere. We all know that's a lie...that 700,000 jobs were being lost every MONTH when Obama took office, as a result of REPUBLICAN policies & the Bush administration, and now there are jobs CREATED every month in the private sector. Lots of jobs have been created under Obama.
The meme that liberals thought and spread the "Bush created the 9/11 tragedy" - no....no one in Congress spread that meme or stated he/she believed that crap. The country came together after 9/11. Very different from the wacky teapartiers in Congress now who state they think Obama was born in Kenya and other wacko insane beliefs.

(8,050 posts)But I think Governor Dean was being too generous to the GOP.
Looking at the current picture, the percentage of crackpots in the GOP has to be way over 49%.

(13,390 posts)I supported him in '04 and sooo wish he would have one. But, I think that he has been able to serve us better in the roles he has taken on since. He couldn't be as forthright as he is if he were president. Office holders have to temper their rhetoric in pursuit of diplomacy. The have to equivocate and be evasive in the interest of avoiding offending anyone.
I'm so glad he has remained active in the public arena. He speaks truth to power from the heart.

Either way - I think you've found a good group to subscribe to!
