but saying, "someone did a show about it" is hardly proof. But with something that could be embarrassing, I am sure there is no real way to tell.

it's pretty much just a metaphore now - for seniors having to chose between esential things. it would probably be better to say "having to hose between medicine and food." sweet potatoes are cheaper than facy feast.
