Was jan Brewer drunk?

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer made the national headlines again. The Governor was photographed poking her finger in the Presidents face, while she appeared to be yelling at him. To be sure it was most unseemly and oh so inappropriate, not at all the style of protocol one displays toward the President of the United States, but for those familiar with Brewer’s reputed struggles with, shall we say a wee bit of “overindulgence” it comes as no surprise. Some of her past erratic behavior is legend at the State Capital; a video post in this article offers high lights of previous public gaffes.

Official reports of the testy talking too center on the Governors recollection in her book about the oval office meeting she had with Mr. Obama. She did not care one bit, no sir not one bit, for the uppity attitude she encountered during her visit to discuss issues of immigration and boarder security.

For the cynical observer, the word staged or sandbagged by a crass politician comes to mind, for those who follow Brewer; probably overindulging again seems the proper descriptive.

For good reason. I think Jan had a few too many cups of "tea" that afternoon.

I mean no offense to any good Democrat out there with ill-fitting dentures. But she talks real slurry. And the pointy finger thing was very nasty.

That is my impulse when such a belligerent person wags a hostile finger in my face.

hadn't heard that about Jan Brewer. Yesterday one of the news shows, I forget which one, showed a clip of her talking about her accomplishments and she seemed a little out of it. She lost her train of thought a few times. Made me think she was on medication or something. Her behavior is certainly questionable in that instance and in her unfortunate behavior towards Pres. Obama.

Jan Brewer Says She Was Drinking Wine Before Crashing Car Into Mini-Van Not Scotch

By James King Fri., Oct. 29 2010 at 9:56 AM

Governor Jan "Drive Hammered, Get Nailed" Brewer wants to set the record straight: when she crashed her car into the back of a mini-van in 1988, she had been drinking wine -- not scotch, as was recorded in the police report.

"Well ya know, I've never drank scotch in my life. If I have a cocktail, it's usually merlot wine," she told AZFamily yesterday.

According to the police report, Brewer "has did" drank scotch -- at least two glasses, both of which were consumed right before crashing into the mini-van

She held that finger out like a good racist lady though. then the day after telling folks that she was afraid of the President.

Not to say though that being a drunk and racist at the same time doesn't happen.
