(4,340 posts)It's our reality. All I'm hoping for is a few inches of rain this summer. Of course, here, it's feast or famine, right? So we'll either get a drought or we'll get monsoon flooding.

(8,352 posts)We did break 80 degrees last week. I believe one afternoon hit 85. I had to run my a/c. Now we are getting severely much needed rain this weekend - almost 2 inches. By tomorrow night it is supposed to be back in the 30's.
Definitely not normal for us this time of year.

(4,340 posts)There's no avoiding it. We can cope with it 80 degrees in our house during the summer. We've acclimated ourselves to it by then. But not in January. Uggggh!!!!!

(8,352 posts)When it is 100º here, I can tolerate 78º to 80º and the subsequently high electric bills. It was just too stuffy and warm in the house last week not to run it at least a little during the worst of the day. And it was too polluted air-wise to really leave windows and doors open. Uggggghhh is right!

(51,666 posts)Los Angeles. We've had a colder than normal winter so far. Not that it can't get this cold - it DOES. But normally it's only for a few days and then it's 65F again. This year has been steady cold for weeks. WEIRD.
