Did you ever feel like you are a commodity?

First thing this morning I got an Email from the DNC asking for money so they could fight for us....you know the kind.
Well I was tired of it, and taped out, so I went to the link to take me off the email list and there was a section where they asked why...and I told them....that I felt Harry Reid betrayed us and i was pissed about it and did not intend to give them another dime...
Well just now I got this.

Dear Zeemike.

Last week Senator Bernie Sanders, an independent member of the Democratic caucus, was the only member of that caucus to vote NO on the so-called filibuster reform package passed in the U.S. Senate.

Below is Bernie’s statement on why he voted NO.

Thank you for your interest.

What a coincidence eh?..I was just saying....

So when they use you up on one place they sell you off to the other.

We are the "eyes" that are offered up for money to commercials on TV.. and the ads on websites and in newspapers..WE are the product when you watch the Evening News.

and so I still cling to the notion that I count for something more than that...but in my heart I know I don't.

When corporations are given access to governments, the people cease to be citizens and instead become "human resources."

The dystopian changes we are seeing now are the result of every aspect of our lives being sold to the highest bidder.

But corporate morality is contrived, and obscene. We marinate in propaganda that tells us that corporate law is natural law. It doesn't have to be that way.

We are all human beings. We have innate value and worth, like every other creature on this earth. We deserve and we have the capability and the responsibility to work to create a world with greater respect for all of us.
