(60,010 posts)Poor doggy goes nutz in storms, so gave him his Valium an hour ago, now is zoned out, too numb to quiver and drool.
If we have to go into tornado mode and run for the safe place, I will be dragging 80# of zonked canine behind me.

(84,711 posts)Several of my friends have tried it and it's worked wonders for theri dogs. Here's a link to Amazon and maybe some of the comments there would be helpful. I have cats....so can't say I've had personal experience, but I know how hard it is for dog owners to deal with from my friends. It was invented by a guy here in NC and I think it's made here...but, I don't know for a fact.

(32,080 posts)At least in my neck of the woods. I don't think we are going to be so lucky today. Right now, the sun is trying to peek out from behind the clouds. But, the wind has been fairly brisk already, and the front is still well over 150 miles away.

(32,080 posts)The front edge of it looks like it has been getting more and more organized. There's a line of heavy stuff that keeps getting longer and wider.

We had freezing rain when the weather warmed up and we expect to get it again tonight when it turns cold again.
Just Not Normal.
