Barney Frank endorsing Ed Markey

“I know Mr. Cowan is committed to working hard and in socially-fair and economically-efficient manner toward solving pending budget issues,” Frank said in a statement Wednesday.

“I now look forward to working for the election of Ed Markey to continue this work, and to providing President Obama the support he deserves in carrying out the mandate he received in November,” he said.

So, hopefully, those who wanted Frank to be senator will follow his lead and support Markey

Also a fun fact about the appointment of William Mo Cowan. It will be the first time in a century than the Senate has 2 African American Senators. Unfortunately, none has been elected in office and the next Senator from MA will be a white male.
