FYI---

Luckily fundies are going the way of the planking, it's just going to take another 30-50 years till they are a super-minority..

By then we may need "special rights" for them as they would say

...that did a comprehensive review of the Biblical Sex Laws. Conclusion more or less state there was no "Sex Law" standard in the Bible and often the laws were taken from outside cultures at the time. Of course this made some fundies go ape shit. Their response? Reading the Bible is always good, but it must be read in a certain way under certain assumptions"....A Protestant acting like a Catholic...to defend their religion....talking about coming full circle.

Contrary to popular belief...well you know what...let me put it this way.

Islamic Fundamentalist: The Koran is inspired from Allah, but it must be read from <insert religious doctrine> view.

Christian Fundamentalist: The Bible is inspired for God, but it must be read from <insert religious doctrine> view.

Arguments about, shellfish, pork, etc. are pointless with them. Because religious doctrine states that the Old Testament is no longer required and should be used as historical purposes....except the parts that prophesy about Christ. They rationalize conflicts with their beliefs vs. their holy text via conjecture and dismissal. And they openly embrace this because it supports their fears, prejudices, hatred, etc. And their leaders are all to happy to continue in promoting this because it keeps dollars rolling in.
