...I briefly heard a radio that was on at work. I am in the San Diego area.

The local host was claiming "100's of thousands" of Mexicans living in Tijuana receiving Social Security, Welfare, etc...

I can imagine that this must be going on on many stations. This inflamatory rhetoric.
It is incredible to me that these hosts are willingly destroying the Republican Party.

Do they not realize just what in the hell they are doing in these changing demographic times we live in?
Spreading their half-truths and lies in an attempt to gin up hatred of others.

I almost chuckled out loud as I realized their stupidity.

6. This is the kind of shit that stirs up the animals at town hall meetings.

Quite a display of them at a john mccain town hall meeting made the news today. It was a freakin' MOB, shouting, carrying on, showing their ignorance, being loutish and brutish and rude and bullying and confrontational. My husband was watching one of them in that clip from Sun Lakes AZ today and said "that guy's a plant. A teabagger plant." Wouldn't surprise me. They metastasize like a cancer.

7. I listen quite often ...

... when I can't sleep I tune-in sometimes to repeats of earlier right-wing talk shows.

I often hear Michael Medved; Bill Bennet; Bob Duco(?); Mark Levin.

I have a clear understanding why right-wingers are so terribly ill-informed and so incredibly hateful ... it is a constant repetition of half-truths, distortions and lies; of smears, ridicule and mockery.

I do believe that they are their own worst enemy.

By the way, Mark Levin is the worst ... what a very pathetic man.

8. Well, they went a lot farther south than Tijuana, they're Gringos,

and they're on Social Security, not welfare or food stamps, and it runs to scores of thousands, not hundreds. Otherwise, it has a grain of truth in it, if you have a powerful enough microscope to find it.

Mexico has been a magnet for retirees of modest means for a very long time. Goods cost almost what they do here but labor is so much cheaper that the Yanqui buck goes a lot farther.

But yeah, those liars will say anything to whip up hate. It's not selling nearly as well as it did before the bankers fucked us over, though. It's hard to blame a struggling single mother when the bank is the one illegally foreclosing on your house.

I'm with earthside on this one, Levin is the worst, but probably not the richest, yet.

I'm curious whether each one actually believes the BS that comes out of their mouths, or if they have simply discovered that hate sells, and puts money in their wallets.

I'm guessing that Levin really believes the right wing swill, as does Hannity, but Limbaugh may be just a good huckster, like some of the TV preachers.
