Good afternoon everyone!
Sorry this is so last minute, but I thought I would share that two seniors groups, The National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare and the National Senior Citizens Law Center are crashing tomorrow's taping of MSNBC's Morning Joe in South Beach, Florida.
They are going to rally outside the taping with a mobile billboard truck and rally signs to draw attention to the fact that GOP candidates want to gut Social Security and Medicare and they are not being asked the tough questions. Florida seniors deserve to know where these candidates really stand.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz will also be a guest, which is pretty awesome.
Hope some of the local DU folks can make it out!
Here are the details and contact info:
Taping is from 6am-9am

(21,078 posts)revelers were at Jerry's as is custom after partying, and of course were loud and rowdy. Most of them thought they were going to be on Good Morning America....Bwahahaha. Regular more sober guests sitting near the set were leering at the partiers to no avail. I read this at HuffPo but can't find it now..

(63,912 posts)Joe S. is all about cutting SS "to save it." Like we believe that! He's a self proclaimed "small government" republican, so how can he want to save SS?
The man is lying.
