The Republican solution seems to be to get even more extreme in their positions (abortion, gay marriage). As if they have to strengthen their hold on the wacky 20%.

It's EXTREMELY important. To some extent, Drudge is right. We got 2012 meaning we got the SCOTUS - the true crown jewel of national elections. But, a loss or status quo in 2014 means 4 years of continued stagnation. I'd much prefer we end the stagnation.

2014 is big. Dare I say "hugh"!!!

Anyway, in 2014 we need to vote the tickets we have. Whatever your gripes about Obama may be (and I tend to disagree with many of those gripes), we need to advance (read: progress) the "cause", so to speak.
