Football halftime shows have always been about big scale visuals, and Madonna did it big indeed. I don't even remember what the songs were, but who cares?
By comparison, my favorite band in the world is The Who, and that year was the most disappointing halftime ever. The band phoned it in and Townsend couldn't even smash a guitar. If not for Super Bowl, when?
