How can a dead person be 101 unless you get into some pretty grisly depictors of the buried remains.

He may have been a nice, congenial type (in some people's minds), but what did he do to deserve to be treated as demi-god?

Actually, now that I think about it, the people who I have known who worship the guy are all, to a person, kind of shallow, a little dumb, not too bright and don't really have a clue as to how the world REALLY functions. Maybe I just answered my own question...

They use Reagan as an example of recent Republican "success."
They certainly can't point to either one of the Bushes, or Nixon, so they revise history about Reagan, romanticising the period. As I recall, Newt wasn't nearly as cozy with Reagan as he'd like us all to believe today....
