I just saw somebody almost get hit by an SUV.

Traffic is still in chaos in downtown Indy today, but still this shuldn't have happened: I was at a downtown intersection waiting for the light to change. Two women were on the other side waiting. The light changed, and they started toward me. I stepped off the curb too, and a big ol' SUV ran the light and almost hit them. The SUV's driver had to slam on his brakes. His face got really red, and he was yelling. Wonder if he realized he would have been in a world of hurt if he'd hit them, since he ran the light. Idiot!

He or she decided to change lanes into my lane. If I had not swerved just in time, I would have been blindsided.
