(9,983 posts)Got a blown rotator cuff, and they gotta screw my foot together so's the ankle sorta works. The docs are checking their tee times to see which one should be done first. All I gotta do is come up with something to live on.

(43,890 posts)And brings this song to mind, which, although it is written about the love of two men for each other, nevertheless evokes the eternity of love, and the importance of having love, even in the final moments of one's life.
It is called "Syndrome of Love", Written by Victor Heredia, and to this day is still banned from broadcast in Mexico.
That rare chance to touch each other again,
despite the anguish of time,
brought back the smell of the sea
and the armoma of sprigs of incense...

***UPDATE***
We are saddened to say that on April 4, 2013 Nolan passed away next to his beautiful wife and family. I wanted to post up what Morgan had to say:
"At 8:45 this morning my husband and best friend took his last breath while surrounded by family. I am comforted that he is finally at peace since he smiled as he passed on to heaven. He promised to watch over me, the family, and especially the kids -and I know he will hold true to that. I have never felt such horrible pain and sadness but I do know I am so blessed to have such an amazing, strong, and loving angel up there. I have a feeling he is catching up with his grandparents, finally driving, running, and as Kellan says, "playing baseball with Jesus." Nolan, you will always be the love of my life and I know you will be in my heart, soul, and mind forever... every second of every day. I cherish all of the amazing memories we made. I love you SO much ?"
