What Chevy model were they talking about.. 1968 or 69?

EDIT--I thought it might be the restyled Camaro, but as name not needed noted downthread, it's the VEGA.

There was a line in the script re: voting for RFK or McCarthy. The primaries are still underway, MLK has been killed in the previous episode, so we're probably in May 68.

(61,935 posts)Most of the legends of its shittiness that I've heard had to do with them rusting or falling apart. It also didn't help that each year the engines offered were less powerful due to emissions controls/ switch to unleaded.
