So, what the hell is all this hoopla over the Lybian attack...

To me it looks like the four people were killed by Libyan nationals and there was some confusing about how to report the news for a couple days and then the right news came out.

With all the attention given to this incident you would think Senator Clinton dropped into the compound and killed the four people, drank their blood and sent bloody valentines to Coo Coo Coocoo bird, the senator from Ky.

So it took a few days to get to the bottom of the incident. What is the big deal?

1. "So it took a few days to get to the bottom of the incident. What is the big deal?"

I think that's what most folks think.

And probably 'the majority of folks' aren't even paying attention to all the GOP Benghazi BS.

2. I suspect that the Republicans are trying to make political hay out of whatever they can grab.

They don't care how unreasonable they're being. This is red meat to them, and to their stupid supporters.

I think they're trying to undermine Hillary in case she decides to run for President.

5. They say Obama swayed the election by not saying terrorism

within minutes of the attack, even tho he did the next day on television. And because the talking points were very carefully worded and edited due to changing intelligence as they were being prepared and because so many different agencies had input.

That's it in a nutshell. They're still mad they lost AGAIN to the black guy. Can't be because Romney and the GOP suck., oh no. Or because Romney got caught on tape with that stupid 47℅ remark and just being an asshole in general.

11. Using the title of the

higher office is the norm. It wiuld not nake sense to refer to Governor Clinton or Senator Mondale.

12. Have you actually listened to the President's Rose Garden Speech on September 12, 2012

the day after the incident?

No.

Well, apparently neither did Fox News or the Republicans in Congress.

It's at WhiteHouse.gov.

You can google it easily. I have posted the link so many times . . . . . . I don't want to go through that again. So easy to find.

Please listen to it and show it to anyone who goes on about Benghazi. Was there confusion? Yes. But the President and Sec. Clinton were very honest about the whole deal.

I am not a perpetual apologist for the President. But this business about Benghazi is ridiculous. It is ignorant. A tiny bit of research, painless really, resolves all the questions.

14. The rightwing is nuts

And they'll grasp at any straw that might cast a negative on Democrats.
They've actually got nothing here and are just making themselves look more foolish/stupid by pursuing this tempest in a teapot.

15. Given that since then, more Americans have been killed by

--toddlers than by terrorists, who gives a shit?

16. first ambassador killed in the line of duty in x years

plus a somewhat embarrassing lie by Susan Rice. The story ran its course long ago, the Obama administration paid a small price, now they're keeping it alive to use against Hillary. There will be ads run against her using her "what difference does it make" quote from when she testified. It might hurt her a little. I'm hoping it won't matter because we nominate somoeone else.
