the Senate Democratic leadership should IMMEDIATLY begin an investigation into the causes/reasons for the invasion of Iraq (complete with power of subpoenas(sp--spellchecker locked up lol)).
2 can play this game (if both have the spine for it). I bet dollars to donuts the GOP doesn't REALLY want to play though fi push comes to shove, going into an election year...

(8,377 posts)How did that work out for the GOP against Clinton? And they actually had something real against Clinton (lies about sex). They have nothing on Obama and the public would never support that.
Talk about a way to win the House in 2014, there aren't too many sure paths, but that is about as sure a path as you will see. After all, look at Wisconsin. Walker was way under 50% favorable, but the voters came to his side because they felt it was unfair to try to override the election without clear-cut cause. Obama is far more popular than Walker.
Obama's political people are surely sitting in their offices right now saying "Please, please, don't throw us in that briar patch, Br'er Fox."

Without something like that, Obama is basically a lame duck already. This is the one thing that can really turn the tables.
We should all be saying our prayers, incantations, birthday cake wishes or whatever we believe in to get the House to do this.
Notice Obama isn't really pushing back much. It is a trap and these morons really don't see it.
