after I'd changed the bed because my old, sick cat puked on it. Then pain woke me up and here I am. I should probably wash the bedding but right now, no way.

At least Ovation is showing the life of van Gogh instead of wall to wall war movies.

and turned her nose up at the renal diet food. I talked to the vet and told him I didn't want any heroics, so she's been OK for the last year on a regular diet, potassium pills and blood pressure pills. She's going off her feed again, but if she doesn't want to eat, I'm not going to force her.

I'm just sick of doing laundry because she lives on my bed and that's where she pukes. It doesn't help having a sprained back!

december. i know he's bored with it. i had been feeding him boar's head turkey and ham, etc. for years with a small amount of fancy feast every day. every few days i give him a small piece of ham or roast beef. i feel bad because i know how i would feel eating the same thing every day, but i can't take the chance of losing him. today is the 1 year anniversary of my husband's death. i can't handle losing monkey even though i know eventually i will.

i'm having a real hard time today. thought about posting on DU about the anniversary of john's death. i have health problems and i can't seem to move on. all i did today was take a bath. just been lying in bed watching tv and crying. i'm hungry but nothing appeals to me.

i have scoliosis, herniated discs and osteoarthritis. i see a pain doc and had 6 epidural shots which didn't work. i do take vicodin every day. i also have chronic fatigue syndrome and IBS.

john and i were together almost 42 years. i miss him so much. we were soul mates. he was a good man.

monkey sleeps with me but most other times he sleeps on the bed in the guest room. he hasn't puked on the beds, but he does puke on the floors. the other day he was eating and stopped and puked in his food bowel.

it's hard changing sheets. it really does a number on my back. i have to stop in between putting on the sheet and then the pillow cases.
