‘Hot Dog Hooker’ busted after driving wiener truck to hotel encounter

A woman known to New Yorkers as the “Hot Dog Hooker” was arrested Friday after police say she gave a police officer a massage without a license, then allegedly offered to engage in a sexual act for money.

Catherina G. Scalia, 47, a hot dog vendor and stripper, is said to have driven her wiener truck to a hotel in Long Island to meet the officer.

It’s not the first time Scalia has faced a prostitution charge.

After pleading guilty to a misdemeanor prostitution charge last year, she told CNN that her guilty plea was for being a stripper, not a prostitute.

“I pleaded guilty to stripper,” Scalia said. “A stripper is not a prostitute.”

Just like her Supreme Court namesake. Question is, are they related? They must be.

She has a very unique approach. What I don't understand is why our tax dollars are going to arrest and prosecute this woman.

That said, I don't think I would want one of those hot dogs after knowing what else the cook is doing with her hands.
