Senator Frank Lautenburg died

RIP Senator.

On Edit Senator Lautenburg was at 89, the last of the World War II Veterans.

Further edits to add information.

Huffington Post says it was Viral Pneumonia that took him from us.

He came back from Retirement to save the seat from the damn Republicans who were trying hard to steal it. We owe him a lot for his sevice, a debt that now sadly can never be repaid.

He was a good man. I'm from PA but know that he was a very good Senator. We really needed him. Rest in Peace.

Guy believed in using the powers of government to make life better for ALL Americans.

World War II vets don't like war, unlike the current leadership, they put some things ahead of money. Human life, for instance.
