With all the butt-ugly tiles crap, they are still pushing that shit. Can't they see how confusing and stupid that is? They still don't have a clue. They are trying to put lipstick on an extremely ugly pig.

Sounds BEAUTIFUL, and still a pain in the ass.

I abso-fucking-lutely hate that 'devices' is hidden on the right and half the time doesn't respond until the 5th attempt to point at its phantom existence.

Most of the laptops on Lenovo Outlet (new, refurbished, and scratch and dent models) are Windows 7.

My computers are tools that do what I want and what is needed of them, not someone sitting in a meeting room telling me what I want and how I want to do it.
Fancy graphics on a 24 inch touch screen, three feet away, connected to a desk top, over getting something done? My doctor says I need to exercise, but I don't think that's what she meant.

Touch screens are nice on portable devices and printers, big and small, but if it needs a real keyboard, givmme a real mouse. Leave the fancy graphics that don't really help get the job done, to the kids watching movies and listening to their music.

I have little use for the "Cloud", a fancy name for someones computer server. That is what flash drives and small portable hard drives are for.
And I am responsible for the health and welfare of seven computers in two different locations. They all have enough local storage for what they are used for. The computers at each location are networked together.

MY desktop, MY options. Not Microsoft telling me what I'm 'allowed' to do this time around.

I wish I could pretend to be clever enough to be as passionate and as excited, and to hold such dogmatic and intractable opinions as illustrated in windows, mac or linux threads.

Corporations win, products get branded, consumers purchase a bill of good-- and write free copy for the multinationals. Good business model used during the cola wars of eighties. Why spend money to update the business model if the consumers are still duped into worshiping this or that OS...

Of course, the salesdroid in the video is also completely glossing over the fact that Microsoft was forced to bring the Start button back, and let the users use the regular desktop instead of Metro.
