Some "highlights":
"The American people are hearing such responses as I wasnt there, I wasnt a party to the decisions, I dont know, I cant recall, I would never allow such happenings, I this and I that leaving the Congress with no response."
(I bet this guy had no problems with such answers during the Iran-Contra hearings.)
"It is inconceivable to me that we have elected a man with a completely different political philosophy than that of the free world, and that so many of our fellow citizens still follow him even though we have fallen so far in the eyes of the rest of the world."
(I'd like to see his documentation for this claim.)
"In past speeches, he has divided our nation by expressing those who oppose him as his enemies..."
(You mean like "you're either with us, or you're with the terrorists"?)
"As an American (an aging one at that), I am only expressing my right to free speech, hoping a few souls might wake up to our changing nation in the hope it is not too late to stem the tide of turning into a third-world country."
(Translation: "Black people! Black people everywhere!"

(1,326 posts)Total right-wing nutjob, writing long ranting letters every single week blasting everything Democrats did while kissing the ground Republicans walked on. I guess the paper got fed up with him, too- they eventually started placing his letters in the middle of the car ad section.
