I saw this thing for redneck wedding cakes and some of them are cool.

Some of them turn my stomach though - namely the ones that use the symbol of racism and treason.

5. The trails fuck up the natural undergrowth, cause erosion and noise, and they run on fossil fuels.

While long ago I enjoyed such things, as one more aware of the impacts I now detest that form of recreation.

And, in this context (those folks depicted) it speaks to the largely RW teabagger element in our country.

Or I might be wrong.

When urbanites bitch about the environmental impact of trails, they're reacting to a nagging sense that something isn't quite right just outside their own window.
