It's not like this shit hasn't been going on for years.

They know where to find you, even in the deepest darkest parts of country..on your 50th Birthday AARP shit falls into your mail box. They now can swab for DNA along with those trans-vaginal probes. Information is important to our corporate overlords.

What bothers me, is why now? The desperate little monkeys flinging shit against the wall to see what sticks. Scorched earth policy. "If we can't control the country, no one will." They are hoping we split apart as a party before they do...driving a wedge.

Sure things are shitty, we have had thirty years of it. Don't flake out now.

This issue is one that Obama wants to confront.

We need to push him to make sure that the government remains under some control. If we allow this issue to fester, it will mean the end of the Democratic Party because our enemies will spy on us to the very end.

The only party that is for the spying is the republican party. The Democratic Party opposes the spying.

There's a reason for that. We probably won't find out everything that happened. I can tell you that 1 second after safeguards are put into place there are scores of people trying to get around them. Sometimes when someone succeeds that person then becomes a leaker. Sort of like firefighters very occasionally start fires to put them out. Just a word to the wise.

But, if you remember, this leaker worked at CIA before this company. He had only been in his current job for 3 months. So, last summer and fall he was... Think about it.

If we can get control of the House. The timing of the outrage over information which is six years old is very suspect.

Why are some feigning surprise that DUers would still be against these unconstitutional policies?

That is what doesn't make any sense.

The lame 'argument' that this is "not news, been going on for years", and "if you have nothing to hide this should be of no concern to you" is even more outrageous when I hear these excuses spouted on DU.

don't place words into my mouth. We can deal with this. Priorities. Gain control, Kick out the ass digging monkeys. Then we can repair our country. First you have to get in the front door before you can clean house.
