So how many Congressmen/women support the Patriot Act now?

I would like to see a roll call - both sides of the aisle. Who in congress still supports all this surveillance? They are the lawmakers. Will they think that they would be considered weak if they don't?

People are always talking about Obama and Bush. We should be tallking about Congress which has the powers to repeal/change laws.

It's much more hip to sit on our keyboards and blame Obama, the moderate Republican center-right Bush clone instead! He can do anything he wants to without Congress, because, you know...presidents are like kings! Why go through all the work of finding out who is responsible in Congress and showing up to the polls in the midterms to replace them? It's all his fault that the Patriot Act is still in effect. It's all his fault that GITMO is still open. It's all his fault that the Jobs Bill in 2011 never passed. It's his fault that gays still cannot marry federally, and that we don't have single-payer health care.

Get with the times, OP. Blaming Obama is hip and happening and where it's at!
