Let's not miss an opportunity! We can agree that gov't PRIVITIZATION is a fucking failure.

Prisons
Schools
National DEFENSE?
Spyshit?

Are we going to waste all this common unhappiness with government or are we going to find common ground and resist our fascist overlords?

Private schools and public/private charters often do not have to take state standardized tests and are generally unaccountable for their educational outcomes, their profits going to billionaires, or the fact that they get to pick and choose who they want to admit. The public schools are left with the responsibility of schooling all children of all economic and intelligence levels with no funding and the added pressure that even though they already don't have enough funding if they don't perform on state standardized tests, they will lose even more funding. Because funding is tied to performance they are forced to try and force these kids to perform better overnight, often pushing the students and teachers to the brink of insanity leaving some kids to think they are stupid when in fact it is the adults who come up with this system that are stupid. This issue is personal for me. It's my pet peeve. It is my number one issue, and it is the issue that will probably drive me to vote third party.

then why is government mandating the exact OPPOSITE of what private schools do for public schools? Could it be that proper education costs money, and only the rich can afford to have it done properly?

Nah....
