(40,416 posts)Staying on site here takes little bandwidth, even to load new threads, reload, or even post. It's cheap. Going off site often empties the browser cache so it costs a lot of problems, especially for us folks limited to smart phone Internet (3GB per month).

There are many here in rural areas where there is no broadband Internet.
