Merkel: ‘Important, Necessary’ To Debate NSA Surveillance

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Wednesday that she had a constructive conversation with President Barack Obama regarding the National Security Agency's surveillance programs.

Speaking through a translator at a joint news conference with Obama in Berlin, Merkel said it's "important, necessary" to debate the issues surrounding the surveillance. She noted "quite a lot of instances" wherein Germany had obtained information from the United States.

"I think today was an important first step in the right direction," Merkel said of her discussions with Obama.

Listen to the true NSA professionals that tried to tell us. Yup, they want him prosecuted too -- after a few other people...

...here's one of the "true NSA professionals" on the overseas aspect.

Look, that is exactly what I just said. Are you multitasking too much?

The point is they said he should be prosecuted -- AFTER a few other people.

For being such a link demon, you seem to not actually peruse the contents other people's links. After all, your link was a link to a text discussion of the video link I gave you -- just with the main topic truncated for maximum effect for your particular take.

Not a good way to communicate unless your goal is for your communications to be uni-directional.

"Look, that is exactly what I just said. Are you multitasking too much? "

...it not "exactly" what you said.

"Sometimes I think you are an NSA AI experiment went wrong."

Clearly, there is something wrong with your thinking.

And speaking of "not a good way to communicate":

"For being such a link demon, you seem to not actually peruse the contents other people's links. Not a good way to communicate unless your goal is for your communications to be uni-directional."

I mean, you're having a discussion with yourself and projecting.

The difference between your version and mine, and MINE is backed up by the video, is that they plainly say that he should be prosecuted -- AFTER the higher ups.

I'm sure you think there is something wrong with my thinking -- after all it does not follow you in lockstep.

Yeah, declaring yourself right because other people's opinions are not their own.

The kind of wry statement comes from intelligent people forced to deal with idiocy from above.
