5. How was I inferring that Obama did it?

That post referred to one of the Admin's people referring to Bradley Manning in a way that was less than salutatory. I was commenting on their apparent derision for the truth out of Hastings article.

I woke up to a hide that I had to scratch my head over. I don't know who killed Hastings, but it doesn't look much like an accident.

Still, I want to think you for being honest in another thread about what you are doing here. It's good to know the why's.

Spooky subject, makes his death look even more like an "accident"

I liked this part especially in the article:

The attitude the Obama administration has toward Manning is revealing. What do they think of him? Fuck Bradely Manning, as one White House official put it to me last year during the campaign.

Apparently "Fuck the Truth" is the order of the day. Or perhaps, "Kill the Truth."

So, you quote the Obama people saying "Fuck Bradley Manning" and then say the order of the day is "Fuck the Truth" or perhaps "Kill the Truth."

And you don't see how that's pointing the finger at the Obama admin.

8. My take on your interaction: You are stating that he is stating that Obama is somehow

responsible for Hastings' death...

Whereas all he was doing is showing that Obama Administration is not fond of the truth.

As when Rahm Emanuel called us progressives retards.

So yes, he (or she?) did point the finger at Obama, but not for Hastings murder.

Can you follow the flow of your own statements? Or not?

Which tells me in retrospect that idea scares you. I don't assume the President is in charge here- Clapper lied to Congress and the President seems not to know what's going on at the NSA. That's a lot of people with an axe to grind, and on top of it the FBI seems to be involved at some point.

Killing the truth doesn't require killing the messenger btw- ask Spitzer or the Qwest CEO about that.

18. BTW, Casolaro was investigating a situation he said was

Involving a "web" that included "top-ranking Justice Department officials, New York organized crime figures, and Medellin Cartel drug trafficers, jointly bankrolling "off-the-books" intelligence projects, including Iran-Contra. Their fund-raising schemes, Casolaro said, included: software exports restricted under the Export Control Act, gunrunning, illegal arms sales, bogus mineral and oil investment scams, and drug smuggling through Canada. Monies generated were so immense, Casolaro said, that government officials regularly skimmed off a hefty percentage. None of this has thus far been documented."

It's nothing even remotely related to Obama.

Truth is truth. Sometimes that puts a person in agreement with someone that one would not normally agree with. But it does not invalidate the truth. (Or do you think the sun rises in the west, in order to show you just don't and won't agree with those two?)
